Our Comedy night returns this Spring hosted by I Want A Comedy Night. This Springs line up includes:
Live At The Apollo‘s Gary Delaney will be opening our show at The Boo. Mock The Week regular Gary thinks a good joke should be like a drunk Glaswegian: short and punchy. Gary is not only great for people who like lots of jokes, but fun for people who enjoy getting offended by jokes too.
‘More quality jokes in one hour than many comics have in their entire careers‘ – The Scotsman
‘A master craftsman‘ The Times.
Markus Birdman has played every toilet from Berlin to Sydney, from Glastonbury to the Globe Theatre, you must have seen him somewhere. If not then come witness his tall-tales of shooting puffins, Korean lullabies, tickling Germans, how to remove a python from your foot, and a superb joke about rabbis.
‘Made me laugh so hard it hurt.’ BBC “Uniquely talented, demonstrates just how it’s done.” Evening Standard
Revered by Mancunian students for his work at XS Malarkey, Toby Hadoke‘s quick wit and charming audience banter make him a disarming compere who can liven up a lacklustre crowd or tame a feisty one, without him ever losing his unique comedy styling as a self-deprecatory and amusingly vexed curmudgeon it’s impossible to dislike. Quick witted and a verbal craftsman, he’s also politically informed and a great improviser.
The Middle act in this fantastic line up is Jay Hampson who has been described as having funny bones.
Time: 8pm (doors 7:30pm)
