Baby Explorer’s is back for 2018! This new set of workshops will look at how theatre, visual art and music can be part of supporting your baby’s language and expression. A cosy, creative space to learn some of the science behind your baby’s incredible development, share your experiences of parenting and find some new ideas for play and creativity with your baby.

Three teenagers – born on the same day, in the same town but with very different backgrounds. Inseparable since they were very young, they’re a tight trio – until one day a shocking event blows their teenage world apart.

Castaways explorers friendship and divided loyalties, in a challenging play from Mandala, a diversity – led company which gives a dramatic voice to young people whose stories are not normally heard.

HARP AND A MONKEY – Electro Folk

Songs about cuckolded molecatchers, a lone English oak tree that grows at Gallipoli, care in the community and medieval pilgrims… we can only be talking about the folk experimentalist Harp and Monkey. Their electro-folk storytelling is imbued with a deep Lancashire sensibility that shines through their beautifully crafted and sometimes spooky vignettes of northern life, love and remembrance.

On an intergalactic adventure to prove that aliens really do exist, Miss Amelia Buttersnap, investigator of all things unseen and mysterious, sets off with her trusty cat Tibbles to find out if aliens are friend of foe? Why are they stealing all the fluffy things? And how do you drink tea in space? Shadow puppetry, magic and audience interaction make this a fun show for all the family.
