Drop in to The Boo with your babies and toddlers this spring/summer for a series of relaxed creative play sessions. Anytime between 10 and 12 pm
There’ll be plenty of opportunity for you and your little ones to socialise and interact with other families, enjoy guided sensory play, and spend time together in a safe, friendly and fun environment. Each session will be centred around a different feel, sound, or smell, and will give you the chance to relax as we guide you and your baby though a journey of interactive play.
Ages: 0-4 years. Start 10am until 12pm – families are free to come and go anytime between this time

MUSIC – JIGDOLL – HANNAH JAMES
JigDoll is a new project created by Hannah James.
A rarity in folk music, Hannah is a singer, musician and innovative clog dancer. JigDoll combines all of these disciplines in a beautiful new show exploring the life of the travelling player: sometimes exotic, sometimes frightening, it’s a world where home changes daily, and the only touchstones are the skills you carry with you, and the people you meet on the way.

JOIN IN ! – KidsRocK
Following the growth of our Baby Boo Programme, we are now pleased to introduce ‘KidsRocK’ our new weekly baby/toddler classes. Madeleine Solazzo is treating us to a Friday morning of music-making. KidsRocK classes are planned around the Early Years Foundation Stage framework, and are a great way for your child to develop their social skills and to learn to communicate. Come along and play instruments, play with props and toys, sing, dance and have fun together.
Bring along your little ones each week for a quality, fun, inclusive and educational introduction to music! Our Café will also be open offering you a well-earned selection of drinks, cakes and snacks.

MUSIC – GOLTY FARABEAU & RUFF TRADE
Seychellois Reggae superstar, Golty Farabeau, teams up with Ruff Trade, the UK’s youngest Reggae sensation to bring an evening full of sunshine to The Boo! Golty, an established artist in the Seychelles with nine CDs to his name, has represented his country at industry music showcases all over the world. He sings in English and Creole; his songs transmitting powerful messages around emotions, politics and human nature. Despite only forming in 2015, teenage musicians, Ruff Trade, have already worked Jamaican reggae greats, such as Trevor Roots and Don Hartley. What a combination – come prepared to dance!

ALEENA’S GARDEN – COLOUR THE CLOUDS
Underneath the canopy of Aleena’s tree, the young audience will be led on an exciting journey through the natural world with lights, colour, touch, original music and Makaton sign language. Salford based company, Colour The Clouds have created Aleena’s Garden as a perfect first theatre experience for very young children. Our pre-show creative activities might even venture into our own garden, weather permitting!
