October Half Term at The Boo

We’re excited to be able to welcome back audiences to The Boo for half term with our ‘Season In A Week’, a week of live events all taking place at The Boo.

We know not everyone will be ready to return to live events at the moment – all our events will be socially distanced and therefore have a significant reduction in capacity.  We have been working hard to put the procedures in place to make our venue COVID-19 secure and we hold the ‘Good To Go’ Industry Standard.  This means that we adhere to the government guidance for our industry for COVID-19.  We have all the relevant risk assessments and processes in place to maintain cleanliness and social distancing.  To find out more about our COVID-19 policies and what to expect when you visit us please visit : https://www.horseandbamboo.org/before-you-arrive/

For our audiences members who are not ready or are unable to return to live events at this moment, please watch this space as we are working on some exciting digital content that we hope to share with you very soon!

You can attend all of our half term events using time credits.  Each event is worth 1 time credit.  To book with time credits please email info@horseandbamboo.org with your name and requested time slot.

All tickets go on sale 9am Friday 9th October

LEMPENS PUPPET THEATRE PRESENT… THE FISHER & HIS WIFE

A very, very long time ago there lived a fisherman, together with his wife, in a small cottage made of dirty old metal. They had everything they ever needed and were happy and content.  Then one day a talking fish starts granting them wishes…

This traditional story from the fairy tale collection of the Brother’s Grimm has a sudden rebirth and renewed relevance in the present day.

This is an outdoor performance, told from a box, mounted at the front of a penny farthing bicycle and will keep both children and adults entertained.

Ages: 4 years + and their families

Running time 20 minutes

Please note this is an outdoor performance so please wear suitable warm clothing

At this time we are only able to accept pre-bookings
