October Half Term

Events at The Boo are priced as “Pay What You Can”.
This means that you can donate any amount for your ticket, or you can attend the event for free.
We put recommended ticket prices against our ticketed events.  You can choose to donate during the online booking process or we have donation buckets around the building when you attend any event, and you can choose to donate after watching a performance if you wish.
All your ticket donations help us to keep all of our events accessible and affordable to everyone.

She is amazed to find that she has more in common with the goddess Sita, than she would have thought.
‘Sue & Sita’ uses puppetry, shadow theatre, and dance to celebrate identity and heritage.
Sue & Sita is a production by Ri Ri’s Dance Academy.

Join The Boo for our FIRST Halloween Pumpkin Trail to take place at Edgeside Park in Waterfoot!
On November 1st, the day AFTER Halloween, bring your Halloween Pumpkin down to Edgeside Park in Waterfoot and add it to the trail.
The trail starts from 5pm, so come down early to add your pumpkin along the edge of the path around the park.
There is no competition… but will your pumpkin grab everyone’s attention? What theme will you be going for this year? Witches, cats… your favourite film or tv show… come down to see how everyone’s been decorating their pumpkins this year!
Along the pumpkin trail, award winning Storyteller, Ursula Holden Gill, will be holding spooky story telling performances every half hour – no booking required.
Hot drinks be available to purchase.
This event is free to attend – there will be stewards at the end of the parade with donation buckets.
Please DO NOT bring real candles to the park. Please light your pumpkin with battery-powered lights or there will be plenty of battery powered tea lights available at the entrances to Edgeside Park.
At the end of the evening, pumpkin trail-goers are asked to place their pumpkins in the provided bins at 8pm or take them home. All pumpkins left after the parade and put in the pumpkin bins will be composted.
If you can walk to Edgeside Park – please do.
There is some street parking around the park, but this is a housing area – please be courteous to the park’s neighbours and do not park in front of driveways or block entrances etc.
