Work is progressing quickly as a result of a Grant for the Arts Award to transform and rename our Centre in Waterfoot, which will become a focus for arts events within Rossendale. The ¡Viva Mexico! website is up and running. A celebration of Mexican Art and Craft with Mexican ceramic artists Tiburcio and Israel Soteno working at Green Close Studios in Melling and a touring exhibition launching at Lancaster City Museum. ¡Viva Mexico! is a rare opportunity to discover the brilliant colours, stunning designs and talents of artists and craftspeople of Mexico's many regions. ¡Viva Mexico! includes masks and props from iA Strange (& Unexpected) Event! - H+B's award-winning production about the Mexican artist J.G.Posada.
