Waterfoot Wakes Festival: Thursday 4th – Sunday 7th July

The Waterfoot Wakes is back for it’s second year and this time it is even bigger and better! Kicking off the festival is Eathquakers Ceilidh Night on Thursday 4th, 6pm – 9pm.

Friday 5th July sees the return of our Comedy Night and this time we have a double bill of Edinburgh Fringe previews from Howard Read and Nick Doody. You can also book for a two course pre-show meal at The Old Library Cafe as the perfect meal and show combo!

On Saturday 6th July our infamous Waterfoot Wakes Parade will take place at 12noon and has a distinctly Rossendale Heritage vibe! There will be music on at The Play Park Music stage all day long with a host of theatre and entertainment including the family theatre show The Crow’s Tale by String Theatre. We finish Saturday with a special heritage cinema night showing shorts from around Rossendale and Lancashire Wakes followed by Whistle Down The Wind.

Sunday 7th July is our family day with plenty of crafts and pirate magic, the famous Circus Raj outside The Old Library Cafe and back at The Boo Little Angel Theatre perform their adaptation of Julia Donaldson’s The Flying Bath there at 11am and 3pm
