FAMILY FILM : Cloudy With A Chance of Meatballs (U)

A local scientist from tiny town of Chewandswallow is often regarded as a failure…..Flint Lockwood thinks he’s a genius. But none of the things he invented are things that make sense or are useful. However, he has the support of his mother but when she dies, he’s left alone with his father who thinks he should give it up.
When the community that he lives in is in an economic crisis because their primary source of income, a sardine cannery, was shut down, Flint decides to try his latest invention, a machine that can turn water into food. But something goes wrong and the machine ends up in the atmosphere. Later it starts raining food.
An imaginative story of amazing food weather that inspired the hit movie, Cloudy with a Chance of Meatballs is a favourite of grown-ups and children everywhere.

Goofus Theatre and Yan Tan Tethera bring you a brand new family-friendly show.
Friendship can be anywhere!
Our story starts with a lonely museum Caretaker, who loses something quite dear to him. In his quest to retrieve what was lost, he finds himself on the moon where he meets the strange but loveable Moonlings. Through a ritual of trust and friendship, the Moonlings help the Caretaker restore what was lost to him. Taking this gift back to Earth, the Caretaker rediscovers all that was hidden!
Blending music with movement, puppetry, play, and mask this nonverbal performance will immerse audiences in storytelling, creating a space for imagination to thrive.
