Making a Change is a long-term programme we have been developing since 2016 in partnership with
Novus: Leading Prison Education | Foundations for Change
Our programme delivers arts residencies in prisons with Dads and guardians to help maintain relationships with their families. We do this through creating stories, puppets, masks and other things the children can see, play with and share with their Dads during their family day visits. We have delivered residencies in prisons throughout the North West including Buckley Hall, Thorn Cross, Liverpool and Styal.
Another aspect of the project is to guide families we meet through the family days to engage with children’s theatres across the North West of England supporting visits to Christmas shows and other events throughout the year.
