SUFFRAJISTU – Horse + Bamboo

Follow the story of Annie, a young Lancashire lass and how she learnt that being small doesn’t mean you can’t change the world! Inspired by the real  lives and stories of the Suffragettes, Suffrajitsu tells the story of how the Suffragettes used JuJitsu in their fight to win the vote. Combining original music, puppetry and some graphic novel style ‘Ka-Pows’!

LUNA – Theatre Hullabaloo

Luna is bored up in the sky with no-one to play with. Although she is surrounded by stars, they never quite understand her – it’s very lonely being the only moon. With original live music this captivating play about friendship and bravery is a wonderful introduction to theatre for young children.

Rossendale’s ever-popular seasonal art and craft market is back and  looking very exciting! As always, we have a wonderful line-up of talented local artists and crafts people bringing their creations for us to enjoy and purchase: there will be everything from glass engraving, personalised cards and bunting, willow weaving and willow products, mosaics, prints and original works of art, ceramics, felt clothing and artwork, decorations, a selection of quirky and original jewellery, Japanese paper, woodcraft and hand-made chocolate….… the list goes on.

We’re having a stall this year also, selling a selection of Horse + Bamboo post cards and posters, cds, dvds and 2019 calendars.

So, come along and join us for this lovely event: entry is FREE. We’ll be serving mulled wine (including alcohol-free) and mince pies from the cafe for you to enjoy as you browse.  We think this is the prefect event to find the perfect present!  Oh, and bring some cash as most stalls won’t have card readers!
