BABY EXPLORERS – Horse + Bamboo

Our Baby Exploerer’s sessions are now free! Creative and relaxed play sessions will help your little one discover the new as they go on a sensory journey. Everyday objects become extraordinary and spark the imagination. This session is now drop in only. No pre-booking, the spaces are first come first served.

SUSANNAH AND THE SUNFLOWER – Ripstop Theatre

You’ve heard of Jack and the Beanstalk, well… this is a quirky take on the traditional tale where Susannah climbs a sunflower, comes face to face with a Giant, his magic harp, the chicken who lays golden eggs and… a very different story unfolds. A gentle and enchanting shadow adventure.

ARTS AWARD – Shadow Puppet Workshop

A 6 week course to earn your Explore Arts Award her at The Boo! Along with creating your own short shadow puppet performance from scratch, we will look at Horse + Bamboo’s history, artists and their work. You will present your performances as part of a celebration and awards’ evening for friends and family. This is a free session but there is an accreditation cost of £13.50 per award.

For ages 7 – 11

6 week course, weekly from Tuesday 10th September – Tuesday 15th October 2019

HEY DIDDLE DIDDLE – Goblin Theatre

Ever wondered how a cow jumped over the moon? Or why the dish ran away with the spoon? With original music played live on stage using a variety of instruments, brilliant puppetry and lots of laughter, this new show from Goblin Theatre is a wild musical celebration about the importance of imagination.

From the cotton mills of the Lancashire hills to the big smoke of London, we follow Annie, a young mill lass, as she fights for her right to vote. However, the fight for change is never easy, and young Annie must learn to defend herself and her fellow suffragettes from those that seek to stop them.
